The Computer Science Summit is UP CURSOR's flagship event, where we aim to showcase Philippine technology for the nation, and be an avenue for collaboration among aspiring computer scientists from different universities. Through exciting breakout sessions, talks, and other activities, participants will gain valuable insights into various branches of the Computer Science career path while forming bonds and networking with numerous future colleagues and influential companies in the industry.
This online event offers breakout sessions on some of the most relevant topics in Computer Science today such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cyber Security, Data Science, Game Development, Natural Language Processing, Ul/UX and many more. We aim to leverage these technologies to build practical solutions to our nation's problems and build towards the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
In line with this philosophy and the current issues in the Philippines, all proceeds from CSS 6.0 will be donated to For our Farmers PH, Inc., an organization working to help and uplift local farmers and fisherfolks.
ABOUT THE COMPUTER SCIENCE SUMMIT
The Computer Science Summit 6.0 will be a 5-day online tech event over the
course of 3 weeks and an ideathon targeted, but not limited to, Computer
Science and IT college students and young professionals. It aims to serve as
the pioneer avenue for collaboration among the students where they can
engage in healthy discourse and build new connections. The event, to be held
this September 2022, will bring together Computer Scientists from various
universities aiming for the development of a better nation through technology.

All profits earned from the event will be used to support our beneficiary: For our Farmers PH, Inc., in this time of need. For our Farmers is a youth-led non-stock non-profit organization which aims to help and uplift local farmers and fisherfolks. Their team is committed in helping and assisting farmers and fisherfolks through sustainable and inclusive projects.
For our Farmers PH, Inc. help local farmers and fisherfolks by giving them grocery packs, term life insurance, hermetic technology bags which they can use to improve the shelf life of their product, and water-bill subsidy for a month. The organization also launched For our Farmers' Scholarship to help and assist young farmers and farmer's children with their education. They established FOFS to help local farmers and fisherfolks with the pressing problem of declining numbers of youth enrolled in school, specifically those from the farming community.
